I have always enjoyed taking photos since I was a teenager, whether it was on my old instant Polaroid or on the 110 or 35mm film cameras. Camera mobile phones made things cheaper to take photos rather than have every negative and photo developed but I wanted to actually understand how cameras worked along with taking a “good photo” rather than just a happy snap. So in 2018 I purchased my first bridge camera (Olympus OM-D EM-1) with several professional lenses, booked in some workshops/courses and started to properly learn photography. I am currently studying for a qualification of my Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) which I am hoping to achieve in 2020.
